The role of the IT Platform Architect is common in organisations modernising or integrating ERP solutions and adjacent platforms (CRM, HRMS, finance systems, etc.).

The IT Platform Architect (ERP) is responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving the architecture of the organisation's ERP and related enterprise systems.
This role ensures ERP solutions are integrated, scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals, supporting operational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives

Key requirements: 

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 8+ years in IT roles, with at least 3–5 years in enterprise or solution architecture.
• Extensive experience with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Workday).
• Proven track record designing and implementing complex ERP solutions.
• Experience with integration platforms, APIs, and data management.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of ERP functional modules and processes (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing).
• Knowledge of enterprise integration approaches (ESB, API management, ETL).
• Familiarity with cloud ERP solutions and hybrid architectures.
• Exposure to data architecture and reporting/analytics tools.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in ERP environments
