AI Specialist / Industrial Engineer

This role is critical in identifying, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, inventory management, demand forecasting, and overall supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical AI/ML expertise with a practical understanding of warehousing operations, and have a passion for solving complex, real-world problems through data and automation

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably within a warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in ML libraries.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, SQL, APIs, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and IoT integration

Key Responsibilities: 

• AI Strategy & Implementation: Design and implement AI/ML solutions tailored to warehouse operations such as predictive maintenance, inventory optimization, order picking, and demand forecasting. Identify use cases where AI can drive cost savings, improve efficiency, or enhance decision-making.
• Data Analytics & Model Development: Collect, clean, and analyse large volumes of operational data from WMS, ERP, IoT devices, and other warehouse systems. Develop machine learning models and algorithms to address operational challenges (e.g., route optimization, resource planning, stock prediction). Ensure data models are scalable, explainable, and integrated into business processes.
